Prior to joining ADVISORS, Kay was Senior Property Manager for Healthcare Realty where she managed eight medical office towers. Among her responsibilities were overseeing the day-to-day operations at these properties along with capital improvements and project management for tenant improvements. In addition, she played a key role in the annual operating and capital budget preparation as well as monthly financial and variance reporting. Kay has a history of success at overseeing rent collections by maintaining no more than a 2% tenant balance.
Before joining Healthcare Realty, Kay had experience as both a Senior Property Manager and Real Estate Manager. She managed three Class A office buildings and the operations of 140+ industrial buildings, respectively. In these roles, she conducted property inspections, oversaw rent collections and overall account receivable; she supervised tenant improvement construction; negotiated, drafted and approved lease documents.
Kay has an Associate degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is also a Six Sigma Lean Black Belt. Kay’s experience along with her Lean Black Belt designation gives her the tools needed to help ADVISORS deliver client value through efficient operation and quality standards.
